He was predeceased by: his parents, Hume Poston Roddie and Ila Ruth Roddie (Andrews); his son Will Roddie; and his brothers, Robert and Jackie Roddie.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Roddie of Brady, Texas; his son Garrett Roddie (Julie) of Aledo, Texas; and his grandchildren, Wes Roddie and Kate Roddie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
