He is survived by: his daughters, Elaine Hurd of Brady and Dixie Hurd Pitcox (Dorman Pitcox) of Brady; his grandchildren, Rachel Pitcox of Hillsboro and Joshua Pitcox (Brandi) of Van Alstyne, Texas.; and his great grandchildren, Zoe Ortiz of San Antonio, Tucker, Ellie Pitcox of Van Alstyne and Jaida Floyd of Hillsboro.
