With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith M Slaughter of Brady, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jess Bratton and Lydia Bratton of Mason; her husband J. H. Slaughter; her former life partner Manuel Boswell; her children, Mary Jo Lanford and Ed Spiller Boswell (Marthella); and her grandson James Roy Boswell.
She is survived by : her son Knox Trammell Jr. (Rose); her son-in-law Jim Lanford; and her grandchildren, Roycella Boswell Lancaster (David), Jim Lanford Jr. (Kathy), Pam Lanford, Guy Lanford (Amy), Charles Trammell and Mitchell Trammell (Laura). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
