In the sacred silence of farewell, Jose is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jose's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Genaro Torres Flores and Maria Lopes Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Norma Lee Torres of Brady; his daughters, Julia Rodriguez (Stephen) of Cherokee, Juliett Velez (Dennis Sr.) of Liberty Hill and Amy Torres (Manuel III); and his sister Rosa Cameron. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leatherwood Memorial Chapels (1001 S Elm St, Brady, TX 76825).
