He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Evans (R. D.) and Verna Evans (Light); and his former wife Marilyn Evans. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Evans of Brady; his children, Robbie Evans (Stacey) of Brady and Cynthia Reeves (Robert) of Brady; his siblings, Richard Evans of Rochelle, Orvel Evans (Thelma) of Buchanan Dam, Grady Evans (Donella) of Brady and Jimmie McFarland (Rodny) of Brady; his grandchildren, Erica Gerstenberger (Ty), Robert Reeves (Sara), Austin Reeves and Trey Evans; his great grandchildren, Larry, Jace Gerstenberger and Carleigh Reeves; and his children, Scott (Sara Wood), Allen (Rayleen Evans), Nancy (Eddie Truitt), Michael Evans and Angie (Lola Evans). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the Food Bank of McCulloch County, the Playground Fund at First United Methodist Church in Brady, or a charity of your choice.
