He was predeceased by: his mother Dorritt Frank LaCaze (Knight); and his brothers, Robert and Charlie. He is survived by: his father Charles William LaCaze; his sisters, Dortha Culp (Richard) of Centerville and Allie LaCaze of Brady, Texas; his stepsons, Erick York and Robert Spade; his caregiver Linda LaCaze Coppinger; J. J. Coppinger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
