He was predeceased by: his parents, Dionicio Gamboa and Isidra Gamboa; his wife Gloria Gamboa; his son Abel Gamboa; and his siblings, Paublo Gamboa, Ausencio Gamboa, Dulces Gamboa, Anita Gamboa and Timotea Contreras.
He is survived by: his children, Rogelio Gamboa (Vickie), Antonio Gamboa (Maria), Pete Gamboa (Rita), Rick Gamboa (Annie), Ruben Gamboa (Marisol), Adam Gamboa (Rita), Adan Gamboa, Jr., Abraham Gamboa, Eva Gamboa, Arminda Cantu (Fernando) and Raquel Pena (Alex); and his siblings, Santiaga Benavides, Apolonia Gamboa and Esteban Gamboa (Reyes). He is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
