She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ray Norman and Bertha Sewell Norman; her daughter Misty Higgins; and her siblings, G. W. Buster Hanna, Ray Hanna, Wesley Hanna, Elby Hanna, Billy Ray Norman, Paul Dean Norman, Quinda Hanna, Agnes Merritt, Naomi Swinney and Phyllis Hendershot.
She is survived by: her husband James Pounders; her son Anthony Pounders (Brittani); her grandchildren, Charlotte, Owen Pounders, Lee Bass, Jr., Serenity Ford, Icia Higgins and Sevon Higgins; her siblings, Zana Ellis, Margie Mielsch and Paul Hanna (Sheila); Faye. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
