He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse James and Virginia Williams Diggs; his grandparents, Filmore and Ida Lee Williams; his great-aunt Willie Mae Carter; his aunt Betty Jean Wilkes; his uncles, Filmore Williams, Jr., Theople "Sonny" Williams and Herman Ray "Baby Boy" Williams; and his cousins, Jessie Faye Mack and Danny Maurice Fomby.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Williams; his sons, Brandon Williams (Kaysha) and Jeremy Williams (Gabrielle); his sisters, Connie Phillips of Houston, Margo Diggs of Houston and Viva Carson of Houston; his aunt Truever Williams; and his uncles, Edward Wilkes and Jerry Lee Williams of Liberty, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
