We are sad to announce that, on April 28, 2022, at the age of 88, John William Ray of Brazoria, Texas, born in Canton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Ray and Lora Ray. He is survived by: his wife Edith Ray of Brazoria; his children, Philip Ray (Debbie) of Brazoria and Susan Tumlinson (Deryl) of Angleton; his grandchildren, Tabitha Walles (David) of Brazoria, Coby Tumlinson of Austin, Ashlyn Tumlinson of Angleton and Rachel Ray of Brazoria; his nieces, Karen Rathbone of Clyde and Linda Haney of Killen, Alabama; and his sister-in-law Judi VanNewhouse (Rick). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
