He was predeceased by: his parents, Nealy Stovall, Sr. and Lela Crandell Stovall; his grandparents, Charles and Jesse Pate; his daughter Chery Stovall Amonette; and his siblings, Richard, Melvin, Willis, Jesse, Raymond, Andy, Eugene, Bob, Bill and Frances Stovall Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stovall; his children, Sonja Stovall Dickens, Robin Stovall, Lela Stovall Copeland, Vanessa Stovall Mottu, Stephanie Stovall and Nealy F. "Bucky" Stovall, III; and his sister Virginia Cornstubble. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
