She was predeceased by: her parents, Filmore Williams, Sr. and Ida Lee Jackson Williams; her sister Betty Jean Wilkes; her husband Alphonse Diggs; and her brothers, Filmore Williams, Jr., Theople "Sonny" Williams and Herman Ray "Baby Boy" Williams.
She is survived by: her son Joe Sterling Williams (Ethel); her stepdaughters, Connie Phillips of Houston, Viva Carson of Houston and Margo Diggs of Houston; her siblings, Truever Williams and Jerry Lee Williams; her grandsons, Brandon Williams (Kaysha) and Jeremy Williams (Gabrielle); and her great grandchildren, Kyla of West Columbia, Korey Williams of West Columbia, Oakleigh of Louisiana and Wrenlee Williams of Louisiana. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dixon Funeral Home (1211 S Brooks St, Brazoria, TX 77422). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul A. M. E. Church (32460 Farm to Market Rd 1301, West Columbia, TX 77486).
