Though Darrell may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darrell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Iris and Billy Roberson; and his brother Christopher Roberson. He is survived by: his parents, Renetta Roberson Huitt and Larry Huitt; his sons, Darrell Roberson Jr. of Chantilly, VA and Isaiah Briones of Lubbock, TX; and his siblings, Vanessa Roberson Hernandez of Chantilly, VA, Kerry Huitt of Dallas, TX, Mathue Huitt of Dallas, TX and Larry Huitt Jr. of Breckenridge, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home (415 W Williams, Breckenridge, TX 76424).
