Sara Shepherd Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Shepherd of Breckenridge, Texas, who passed away on November 10, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Sara's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sara has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Hanson and Lylabell Schuster Hanson; her spouse Fulton "Fully" Burl Shepherd; her brothers, Milan Hanson and Harry "Abe" Hanson; her son Carl Shepherd; and her great grandchild Phoenix Stephens.

She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Shepherd (Anita) of Breckenridge and Keith Shepherd of Amarillo; and her daughter-in-law Betsy Shepherd of Midland. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and may be left at Morehart Mortuary.
