She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shugart and Thelma Chenault Shugart; and her son William Ross Paul. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Leyrer; her daughter Charissa; her son-in-law Steve Fanos; her brother Robert; her sister-in-law Betty Shugart; and her grandson Alexander Fanos.
