He is survived by: his brother Michael P. Cottingham (Elizabeth); his children, Michael Cottingham (Kerry), Patrick Cottingham (Katie), Robert Cottingham (Mary) and Susan Cottingham Stone; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Mary, Kathryn, Michael, Samuel, James, Aaron, Zachary, Kristi and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Greyson, Harrison, Tristian, Charlotte, Trevor, Michael, Justin and Lydia.
