She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Henry and Mabel Louise Kaase (Seidel); her husband Boogie Surrett; her children, Marcie Lynn Surrett and Troy Allen Surrett; her sister Shirley Ann Kaase Peschel; and her parents-in-law, Richard Monroe Surrett and Eva B. Surrett.
She is survived by: her pet Ziggy; her children, Kami Renee Surrett Leonard (Mike Leonard) and Coy Wayne Surrett; her grandchildren, Ryan Smith (Dana Herzog), Karen Andreas (Eric Andreas), Trevor Surrett (Destiny Surrett), Amber Leonard (Krispy Neville), Ashley Leonard and Shelby Gomez (Carlos Gomez); her great grandchildren, Miyah Smith, Evan Smith, Emery Andreas, Braxton Gomez, Eva Andreas, Elena Surrett, Ragan Smith, Kalena Mae Andreas, Emerson Gomez, Kailani Surrett, Kamila Andreas and Trevor Surrett, Jr.; her great great grandchild Charlotte Smith; her brothers-in-law, Marvin Surrett (Cynthia Meschwitz) and Ernie Surrett; and her friend Brenham Quick Mart.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brenham Memorial Chapel (2300 Stringer St, Brenham, TX 77833). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Welcome Lutheran Church (13636 FM109, Brenham, TX 77833).
Memorial contributions may be made to the cemetery care fund at Welcome Lutheran Church, where her parents are laid to rest, or to AccentCare, in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided during the final chapter of her journey.
