He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Winkelmann and Esther Winkelmann; his sister Lois; and his parents-in-law, Lonnie and Bernadine Dreyer.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Winkelmann; his daughters, Shannon (Jacob Hetzel) and Haley (Luke Reimer); his grandchildren, Waylon Dean Reimer and Katie Ann Hetzel; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth, Linda Dreyer, Jimmie, Karen Dreyer, David and Brenda Dreyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials are requested to Zion Lutheran Church of Brenham in lieu of flowers.
