He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmus Gaskamp and Lydia Buck Gaskamp. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Batts; his son Charles Alan; his close friend Adeline Zingelmann; his daughter-in-law Linda Gaskamp (Neutzler) of Burton, Texas; his daughter Desteny Gaskamp of Oklahoma; his sisters, LaVerne Gaskamp of Brenham, Texas., Linda Lehde of Brenham, Texas., Dorothy Grimm of Brenham, Texas. and Lydia Mae; and his brother-in-law Milton Green of Brenham, Texas.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Chapel (1306 W Main St, Brenham, TX 77833). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville.
