He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Batts; his son Charles Alan; his close friend Adeline Zingelmann; his daughter-in-law Linda Gaskamp (Neutzler) of Burton, Texas; his daughter Desteny Gaskamp of Oklahoma; his sisters, LaVerne Gaskamp of Brenham, Texas., Linda Lehde of Brenham, Texas., Dorothy Grimm of Brenham, Texas. and Lydia Mae; and his brother-in-law Milton Green of Brenham, Texas.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville.
