He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Henrietta Jaster Oevermann; his wife Gladys Oevermann; his daughter Emilie Oevermann; his brothers, George Oevermann, Charlie Oevermann, Otto Oevermann, Harold Oevermann, Sonny Oevermann and Lewis Oevermann; and his siblings-in-law, Voncille, Gerry Ginn and Bernard Kenjura.
He is survived by: his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Oevermann of Round Top, TX; his grandchildren, Jess Pharis (Jared) and Brady Hallford; his great grandchildren, Kate, Logan Hallford, Piper and Stone Pharis; his sisters, Natalie Ginn and Rose Kenjura; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Oevermann and Valeria Oevermann; and his niece Michelle Thraen.
