With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Witte of Brenham, Texas, born in Lyons, Texas, who passed away on July 10, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Sr. Witte and Ida Witte (Oppermann). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Witte of Brenham; his daughter Claudia; his son-in-law Ronnie Walla of Brenham; his grandchildren, Colten Walla (Tiffany Kroll) and Dalton Walla (Landon Mendez); his sisters, C. Knesek of Houston and Lila Mae Kirk of Mexia; and his brother-in-law Melvin Dahse of Brenham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
