She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich "Henry" Friedrich Wilhelm and Lizette Victoria Thane (Dahmann); her granddaughter Amanda Lea; her son Jon Whittaker (Paula Gregg); her daughter-in-law B. J.; and her son Mark Whittaker (Barbara Jean Bilski).
She is survived by: her spouse Glenn Wilmer Whittaker; her children, Melanie Andrejczak (Carlton Ray), Stephen Whittaker (Robin Queen), Rachael Croom (Douglas) and Christopher A. Whittaker; her daughter-in-law Paula Whittaker; her grandchildren, Bryant, Aric Whittaker, Aubrey (Brinkmeyer), Isaac Andrejczak, Stacy (Murphy), Bret, Taylor Whittaker, Stefan, Joshua Whittaker, Travis, Tyler, Mazette Croom, Christopher and Matthew Whittaker; and her brother-in-law Wayne Majors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to her church or Hospice Brazos Valley.
