He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Lorenz and Matilda Lorenz (Naumann); his parents-in-law, Fritz and Elsie Fischer; his siblings, Burney Lorenz, Roy (Hilda Lorenz), Harold (Mary Jo Lorenz), Dorothy Keng and Evelyn; and his siblings-in-law, Ervin Blome, Gene Lehmann, Bernard Holle, Billy Schaefer, Luther Draehn, Marvin Fischer, George and Esther Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Walline Lorenz (Fischer); his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Lorenz; his daughter Shonda; his son-in-law Robert Ziese; his grandchildren, Kourtney, Justin Cook, Karley and Justin Brending; his great grandchildren, John and Allison Cook; his sisters, Esther Lehmann, Mildred Holle, Betty Schaefer and Carolyn; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Martin, Charles Keng, Evelyn Draehn and Esther Mae Fischer. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church or to the charity of choice.
