She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Riske and Lena Riske; her former husbands, Willie Foerster and Louis Malke; her nieces, Kayleen and Katherine Riske; and her stepson Charles Malke.
She is survived by: her husband Warner Mize Jr.; her brothers, William (Frances Riske) of Houston, Curtis Riske (Donna) of Plano, Milton Riske of Rosenberg and Melvin (Kathleen) of Brenham; and her stepchildren, Carol Jean Noack (Wilbert), Beverly Malke, Douglas Malke, Joseph Mize (Terri), Thomas Mize and Carolyn McGhee (Tim).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home - Giddings (3950 E Austin St, Giddings, TX 78942). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (1212 W Jefferson St, Brenham, TX 77833). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the St. Johns Lutheran Church Cemetery (1009 Private Rd 8012, Giddings, TX 78942).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to the Grace Lutheran High School, St. Johns Lutheran School Scholarship Fund, St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, or to the charity of one's choice.
