She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Minter and Thelma Minter (Davis); her brothers, Arvie, Weldon and Harold Minter; her husband James Pitts (Sonny); and her granddaughters, Skye Schumpert, Jaio Wang and Rebecca Larson.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Pitts (Jennifer), James Pitts (Tian Xiu) and Mary Kathlene Schumpert (Mark); her stepchildren, David Pitts (Darla), Kenneth Farmer (Vickie), Larry Farmer (Hazel) and Dianna Martin; and her grandchildren, Cord Roberson, Megan Campbell, Allison Fuchs, Spenser Ganske, Sara Henson, Clay Schumpert, Kenneth Farmer Jr. and Elaina White. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brenham Memorial Chapel (2300 Stringer St, Brenham, TX 77833).
