She is survived by: her husband Roy Hegefeld; her children, Heather, Brian Lohman, Ross and Kimberly Hegefeld; and her grandchildren, Lila Lohman, Reid and Hadley Hegefeld. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.

Memorials are requested to Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church of Berlin and Hospice Brazos Valley.
