He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Edgecombe and Samuel Tillotson Sikes Jr.; and his siblings, Stuart R. Sikes and Sally Sue Scheer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Sikes; his son Samuel Cory Sikes; his grandchildren, Alexis, Natasha and Sam Sikes; his great grandchild Samuel Elijah; and his friend Aggies.
