It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Thomason in Brenham, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Addie Gertrude (Ezzell) and George Robert Maddox; her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Lou Wood and Bobbie Maddox Jones; her husband Jim Thomason; her daughter Janeal; her son-in-law Jeffrey D. Janner; her grandson Joel Neal Janner; and her great grandchild Jacob Jackson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Marilyn Routt Thomason, Rosanna Routt Sena (Rudy), Elizabeth Bevan King and Mary Margaret "Meg" Janner; and her grandchildren, Leanne Locke Whitaker, James T. Locke (Carol), Leif Thomas Devemark (Melody), David Joseph Devemark, Kelly Martin, Amy Elizabeth Eads (Barry), Stacy Bevan Hill (Joshua) and Matthew Janner (Janessa).
