He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Marburger; his father-in-law Edward Strangmeyer; his grandparents, Wollie, Alma Marburger, Louie and Lizzie Ganske; and his grandparents-in-law, Edward, Minnie Strangmeyer, Eddie and Minnie Albers.

He is survived by: his mother Joyce Marburger; his wife Shanan; his sons, Mason (Katlyn Marburger) and Grayson (Katie Marburger); his grandchildren, Elodie, Winna, Merritt, Vyla, Heidi and Jessa; his siblings, Gary (Rocksann Marburger) and Beth (Jerry Kunkel); his mother-in-law Evelyn Strangmeyer; his siblings-in-law, Stacy and Rocky Ullrich; and his nieces and nephews, Clinton Marburger, Cody Kunkel, Payton Ullrich and Reanna (David Arvidson). He is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
