It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Fairlie of Brenham, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H. Fairlie, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Janice Fairlie), Richard Fairlie (David Santos) and Holly (David Meier); her grandchildren, Adrienne Fairlie (Filippo Busalacchi), Scott Meier, Virginia Braly and Bethany Meier (Augustine Salazar); her great grandchild Lily Meier; and her pet Gus.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church School of Brenham and Amedisys Hospice Care.
