It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ora Nell Chernosky in Brenham, Texas, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhardt Wensel and Alma Wensel (Dierking). She is survived by: her children, Q. H. "Bubba" Chernosky (Patricia) and JoRetta "Jo" Parker; and her grandchildren, Wesly Chernosky (Joyce), Amy Uselton (Jason), Steven Chernosky (Vicki) and Sara Parker (Jose Velez). She is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brenham Memorial Chapel (2300 Stringer St, Brenham, TX 77833). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Prairie Lea Cemetery (1004 Prairie Lea St, Brenham, TX 77833).
