He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Jurries and Ora Nell Jurries (Wickel); his sisters, Gayle Jahnke and LaNell Seeker; and his parents-in-law, Willie Rosenbaum and Ella Mae Love.
He is survived by: his daughter Gwynne Renee (John Mabie) of Brenham; his wife Laura Jurries of Brenham; his grandchildren, Jacob Wade of Brenham, Sarah Marie of Brenham and Luke Austin of Brenham; his siblings-in-law, Butch Seeker of Brenham, Arno Jahnke of Brenham, Sheron, Chip Citzler of LaGrange, Raymond and Karen Rosenbaum of Burton; and his father-in-law Eddie Love of Brenham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
