We are sad to announce that, on October 9, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Wanda Meier (Brenham, Texas). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Aurel "Buster" Bruening; and her brother Roger Bruening. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Bruening; her husband Keith Meier of Paul's Lutheran Church; her children, Megan (Thomas Kozel) of College Station and Mitchell (Katelyn Meier) of Fort Worth; her grandson Mason Meier; her sister Joan; and her brother-in-law Elbert Brune. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wanda Meier Scholarship Endowment, supporting Burton High School students pursuing a career in teaching, just as Wanda did with love and passion.
