He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Fritz Emshoff of Austin County, Texas and Isabell Emshoff (Brandt) of Austin County, Texas; his grandparents, Wilhelm Emshoff, Henriette Emshoff (Koester), Hermann F. Brandt and Elizabeth Brandt (Mueller); and his brother-in-law Travis Pilchiek.

He is survived by: his former wives, Charlotte Lee Jones of Houston and Juanita Louise Moore of Houston; his children, John Michael (Anita Emshoff), Robert Edward (Sarah Emshoff) and Kimberlyn Kay Crowe (Burlette); his son-in-law Paul Williams of Dallas, Texas; his daughters, Cheryl Lee Burlette (Emshoff) and Kelly Elizabeth Weller (Emshoff); his grandchildren, Joshua Michael Emshoff, Kayla B. Emshoff, Harrison C. Emshoff, Krystal Layne Emshoff, Stuart Lee Williams, Emily Robyn Emshoff, Kaitlin Nicole Emshoff and Karin Morris; and his siblings, Billy Roy Emshoff (Diane) of Kerrville, Texas and Bonnie Jane Pilchiek (Emshoff) of Brenham, Texas..
