He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carpenter and Bettye Jo Carpenter (Fine); his wife Marsha Lee; and his brothers, Harold Wayne Carpenter and Donnie Bruce Carpenter.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Eric Carpenter (Pauline) of Decatur and Brent Allen Carpenter (Misty Cherise) of Paradise; his grandchildren, Victoria, Summer, Ryan, Dawson, Sydney and Owen; and his great grandchildren, Ryder, Roman and Stone.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hawkins Funeral Home (1909 9th St, Bridgeport, TX 76426). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
