It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Tofte Elsmere (Bridgeport, Texas), who passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tofte Elsmere and Edith Ida Moser Elsmere; and his wife Linda Faye Hardee Elsmere. He is survived by: his children, Heath Elsmere, Meredith Elsmere, Jamie Baird (Jason) and Jennifer Rather Green; his grandchildren, Selma Dunn, Tyler Baird, Emilee Dunn, Ronyn Brady, Jaycen Brown, Aubrey Baird, Boston Baird and Camden Baird; his great grandchild Addison Wright-Baird; and his sisters, Elaine Sweitzer (Guy) and Joanne Briney (Greg). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
