It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George B. Nelson of Bridgeport, Texas, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Nelson and Alma Nelson; and his children, Kennon Wayne Nelson, Timothy Alan Nelson and Ramona Carol Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife June Carol Nelson; his children, Mark Nelson (Mary), Neal Nelson and Shayna Byrd (Eric); and his brother Edward Nelson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
