He was predeceased by: his wife Deloris "Lola" Martinez; his son Johnny Martinez; his grandsons, Robbin Martinez and Everson Dunn; and his great grandchildren, Lane Marshall and Michael Stokes.

He is survived by: his children, Raymond Martinez (Sue) of Decatur, Julian Ramirez of Bridgeport, Reba Dunn (Dickie) of Bridgeport, Michael Ramirez of Bridgeport, Mary Marshall (Eugene) of Bridgeport, Donna Morales (Calvin) of Chico and Paul Ramirez (Norma) of Caddo, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
