He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leasel Moore and Lois Fay Ratcliff Moore; his wife Martha; his son Matt; and his siblings, Miles Moore and Marcia Fritz.

He is survived by: his brothers, Mell, Michael and Marion Moore; his son Marc Moore (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Morgan McClanahan (Terry) and Maggie Sears (Travis); and his great grandchildren, Trevor, Turner South, Treysonn McClanahan, Landy and Larkin Sears.

In honor of Max's love and daily prayers for "all the children and their mamas and daddies," memorial donations can be made to the children's ministry of Grace Fellowship Church.
