It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin L. Mitchell of Bridgeport, Texas, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Billy, Kenneth, Junior, Louise and Mary Lou.

He is survived by : his sons, Devon and Darin; his wife Loretta Ward Mitchell; his grandchildren, Kelly Mitchell Gardner, Jeff Mitchell, Keeton Mitchell, Jordyn Mitchell and Haley Mitchell; and his sister Nancy Mitchell Meadows.
