He was predeceased by : his parents, Gregorio Guzman and Natividad Soto Espinosa; his stepfather Andrew Espinosa; his siblings, Luis, Johnny Espinosa and Rosa Sanchez; his niece Reneà Martinez; his nephews, James and Robert Hurtado; and his great-nephew Christian Garcia.

He is survived by : his friend JD; his son Casey Guzman of Watauga; his siblings, Simon Guzman of Bridgeport, Andy Espinosa, Angelina Hurtado of Oregon, Alice Trevino (Manuel) of Boyd, Ofelia Martinez (Joe) of Bridgeport, Mary Win of Fort Worth, Theressa Hernandez of Fort Worth and Candy Espinosa of California; and his pet Angel. He is also survived by family members and friends.
