She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Cassity and Leora Cassity (Watts); her husband Charley Morrison (Charley); and her sisters, Bobbie Powell and Jimmie Rhine.
She is survived by: her sister Glenda Longmire of Decatur; her children, Cindy Morrison of Decatur, Charley Joe Morrison (Frances) of Georgetown and Robin Vaughan (Terry) of Boyd; her grandchildren, Derrick Vaughan (Laura), Alisha Luttrell (Matt), Cassey McKay (Jamie), Cody Morrison, Chanan James (Logan), Lily Johnson and Hayley Stangland-Spain (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Libby Vaughan, Rendyn Reed, Emylie Luttrell, Bryce, Brynlee, Alex McKay, Carsyn Morrison, Tanner, Tucker James, Mia Whitley, Tollak and Birdie Spain; and her cousin Homer Matney of Decatur. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hawkins Funeral Home (405 E Main St, Decatur, TX 76234). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1200 Preskitt Rd, Decatur, TX 76234). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at the Oaklawn Cemetery (465 Cemetery Rd, Decatur, TX 76234).
