He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Bessie Mae Kennedy Taylor; his siblings, John Franklin Taylor and Christine Taylor Herbert Tripp; and his nephew Jason Clark Stewart.
He is survived by: his pets, Patches and Sissy; his wife Dorothy K. Taylor of Bridgeport, Texas; his daughter Brittany Michelle (Brennan Poer); his uncle A. E. Crawford of Moundville, Alabama; his siblings, JC Taylor (Barbara) of Brandon, Rick Taylor of Saucier, Mississippi, Laura Diane Johnson of Clanton, Mary Beth Mercer (Larry) of Gonzales, Rebecca Condel (Alvin) of Gonzales, Jane Stephens (Dale) of Heflin and Carla Taylor of Heflin, Alabama; his grandchildren, Cayden Wayne Taylor, Bradley Newberry and Maci Jo Poer of San Angelo, Texas; his sister-in-law Edna Taylor of Chico, Texas; his close friend David Thompson of Wetumpkna; and his caregiver Sara. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
