Cathryn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Cathryn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Cathryn will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Wayne Jones of Broaddus; her children, Misty Linn Galaviz (Dave) of Vidor and Celbert Morris "Tray" Brown III (Dallis) of Vidor; and her stepchildren, Gary Wayne Jones Jr. of West Orange, Ashli Berry (Cody) of Vidor, Erin Castie (Cody Hutchins) of Needeville, TX and Casey Boytt Simmons, Jr.. She is also survived by her loving husband, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor Vidor (1750 TX-12, Vidor, TX 77662). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
