He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hargrave and Ella (Bennett). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Hargrave; his children, Robby Hargrave, Lacy of Hawkins, Leah Smith, Jason of Kirbyville and James Buford of Hawkins; and his grandchildren, Brooke Broussard, Dalton, Bryce Darcy, Josiah Hargrave, Ava Hargrave and Carter Smith.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams Ee Stringer Funeral Home (111 S Margaret Ave, Kirbyville, TX 75956). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Erin Baptist Church (4298 FM 1005, Kirbyville, TX 75956).
