He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Elton and Frankie Birdwell Byley of San Augustine; his wife Paula Byley; his sons, Ritchie Byley and Todd Byley; his grandson Clay Byley; and his brother Benny Byley, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Gary Byley of Bronson, Harold "Dinky" Byley (Shirley) of San Augustine, Texas and Leisa Byley of Pineland, Texas; his daughter-in-law Candy Byley of Hemphill; his siblings, Barbara Wright (Leo) of Bronson, Texas and Robert Byley, Sr. (Betty) of Bronson, Texas; and his grandchildren, Brandi Byley, Shuan Butler (Misti), Crystal Duffey (Jody), Aryan Haire (Charley), Destini Brazille (Brandon) and Salena Snodgrass (James). He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
