Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stephen Dansby of Brookesmith, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 71, on April 25, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Garland Dansby and Maebell Dansby (Fitzgerald); his daughter Katherine Dansby; and his sister Carol Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Linda Garmon of Brookesmith; his children, Danielle Howard (Cory) of Brookesmith and Derek Dansby (Brandi); his grandchildren, Parker Howard, Aidan Howard, Collins Dansby and Cash Dansby; his aunt Earleene Fitzgerald of Brookesmith; and his cousin Paula Patterson (Hoke Gracely) of Houston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made in Stephen's memory to the Brownwood Public Library, 600 Carnegie, Brownwood, 76801.
