She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilberto Cruz and Elosia Cruz; her siblings, Emma Martinez, Diamantina Garcia, Ernesto Calconsin, Alex and Gilbert Cruz; and her sons, Robert and Jerry Talamantez.

She is survived by: her husband Jorge Hernandez; her children, Frank Talamantez, Ricky Talamantez Jr., Isaiah Cruz, Christine Duran, Lorie Juarez, Rebecca Hernandez and Jennifer Dennis; and her sisters, Sylvia Buchannan, Nancy Alvarado and Olivia Arguellez. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home (2610 S Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77802). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the Norwood Cemetery - Hearne (Hearne, TX 77859).
