Gary C. Rigdon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary C. Rigdon (Brownfield, Texas), born in Dumas, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gary, Wanda Riseley, Dwayne and Gloria Rigdon; and his uncle Randy Riseley.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Rigdon; his mother Gayla Rigdon; his children, Aspyn Rigdon, Blake Rigdon, Danielle Griffin (Stephen) and Gage Rigdon (Samantha); his grandson Jonah Griffin; his brother Zach Pate; his mother-in-law Barbara Cunningham; his brother-in-law Wayne Cunningham (Jennifer); and his nephews, Grayson, Josh, Elliot, Ethan, Dakota, Nate and Cooper.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Brownfield Funeral Home (120 W Tate St, Brownfield, TX 79316). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (402 W Broadway St, Brownfield, TX 79316).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Providing Life Ministries, PO Box 1047, Plains, TX 79355. Donations made in Gary's memory will be dedicated to the ongoing ministry of providing funerals for young children at no cost to their families.
