He was predeceased by: his parents, Dover Preston and Betty Jo Thomas; and his sisters, Kay Bigbie and Becky Rutenbar. He is survived by: his wife Marlana Thomas; his children, Jerry Thomas Jr. (Chele) and Leigh Anne Crandall (Stephen); his grandsons, Jaimen Thomas (Haley) and Jax Thomas; and his sisters, Leta Parker and Francie Spence. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
